Vestas to open R&D site in Boston

BOSTON – Vestas Wind Systems plans to open a research and development center at an undisclosed location in western Boston, xconomy.com reports.

The center will develop generators, converters and control technologies for future wind turbines.

Vestas is headquartered in Randers, Denmark, and operates facilities in Colorado in Pueblo, Brighton and Windsor.
