Fort Collins among safest cities to drive

FORT COLLINS – Allstate Insurance has ranked Fort Collins as the second-safest place to drive in America among the nation’s 200 largest cities.

Allstate said the average Fort Collins driver reports a collision every 13.4 years, making them 24.6 percent less likely on average of being in an accident.

“Drivers in Fort Collins are making great progress toward keeping America’s roadways safer,´ said Christopher Lovest, an Allstate spokesman. “We salute Fort Collins’ best drivers and recognize their safe driving skills, which make all our communities safer places to live, work and raise families.”
