Companies needed for pilot phase of ACE asset supplier map

DENVER – The Colorado Association for Manufacturing and Technology is
seeking aerospace and clean energy manufacturing companies to give
feedback on the pilot phase of the Colorado Supplier Asset Map.

The Supplier Asset Map currently being developed by CAMT will serve as a
database of manufacturing assets, capabilities and resources that
Colorado suppliers can offer to aerospace and clean energy manufacturing
companies.

The map, expected to be available for public use in spring 2012, will
use a Web-based data collection and mapping tool developed at Colorado
State University.

“Often Colorado companies are using out-of-state suppliers, because they
may not be aware of supplier capabilities right here in Colorado,´ said
CAMT regional director Cynthia Christie. “The map will also help local
companies market new products as they scale up manufacturing.”

Aerospace and clean energy manufacturing companies are invited to
provide input and feedback on the search capabilities of the mapping
tool. Supplier companies are invited to give input on the database
information.

Interested companies should contact Christie at cynthia.christie@colostate.edu or at 970-222-9134.
