Outlying shops’ sale may revive Foothills redo
Five years after a developer then called McWhinney bought Fort Collins’ Foothills mall out of foreclosure and three years after it announced an ambitious plan to turn the indoor mall into open-air retail. the company now called Realberry is still “evaluating strategies to reposition the property for long-term success.” However, those plans could be reinvigorated thanks to the $60 million Realberry made by selling off outlying retail properties along College Avenue.
