Social Venture Partners names new board members
BOULDER — Social Venture Partners Boulder County, a Boulder-based nonprofit that connects community members, business leaders and philanthropists with local nonprofits, has appointed Allison Billings and Janet Eden-Harris to its board of directors.
Billings serves as executive director of Impact on Education, where she leads organizational strategy, operations, programs, communications and fundraising in support of Boulder Valley School District students and educators. She holds degrees from Emory University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
“We are so excited to welcome Allison Billings and Janet Eden-Harris as Board members. Their community leadership and expertise have benefited our community considerably. We look forward to their influence on our organization at this pivotal moment in our growth and development,” Joshua Silberstein, CEO, Social Venture Partners Boulder County, said in a written statement.
“As a nonprofit leader, I see every day how local organizations change lives for our neighbors, and I know how hard they work, often with limited resources, to do it. I’m honored to join the SVP Boulder County Board of Directors and to help grow its impact,” Billings said in a press release.
Eden-Harris brings decades of leadership experience in marketing, strategy and business growth, including serving as CEO of a venture-backed company and advising organizations as an executive consultant. Since joining SVP in 2025, she has contributed to nonprofit capacity-building initiatives, Catapult Investment Selection Committee and strategic planning projects.
“SVP Boulder County has been such a wellspring of support for our many outstanding non-profits in Boulder County. SVP has attracted incredible talent and resources to help them meet that mission. To be asked to join the board is both an honor and an opportunity that I’m looking forward to meeting over the course of my term,” Eden-Harris said.
