Early-bird discount ends Sunday for Boulder Valley Real Estate Conference
BOULDER — Early-bird registration discounts for the 19th annual Boulder Valley Real Estate Conference end at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11.
The conference, scheduled for Nov. 19 at the Limelight Hotel in Boulder, will feature forecasts for residential and commercial real estate, a keynote presentation on population trends along the Front Range, and discussions of issues affecting real estate development and investment.
The event will run from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Limelight, 1295 University Ave.
Jay Kalinski, managing broker of Re/Max of Boulder, will present the residential forecast, examining sales activity, listings, price trends and other indicators of the region’s housing market.
Beau Gamble, president of Dean Callan & Co., will moderate a commercial real estate panel examining office, retail, industrial, flex and investment properties. Panelists include Erik Abrahamson of CBRE, Patrick Brady of Savills and Heidi Schamber of Market Real Estate.
The luncheon keynote will feature Colorado State Demographer Neal Marquez, who will examine population shifts along the Front Range and their implications for residential and commercial real estate demand.
Other sessions will explore:
• The Great Shift: how multiple-listing-service consolidation, brokerage mergers and private listings are changing the residential real estate industry.
• Where Innovation Lands: The real estate needs of Boulder Valley technology, aerospace, quantum and life-sciences companies, including laboratory and flex space, location costs, workforce considerations, and tax and regulatory considerations.
• Lights, Camera, Listing: The potential impact of the Sundance Film Festival’s move to Boulder in January 2027 on short-term rentals, vacant storefronts and commercial properties.
• Boulder Valley Comp Plan: How the recently adopted update to the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan could affect housing development, land use and commercial real estate opportunities.
• Breaking Ground: Economic-development and planning officials from Boulder, Broomfield, Erie, Lafayette, Longmont, Louisville and Superior will review major commercial and residential development projects in their communities.
The conference will include networking opportunities and lunch.
