EPS Group transitions to employee ownership

FORT COLLINS — EPS Group Inc., a full-service consulting firm serving clients across Colorado and the Southwest, announced Thursday that it has officially transitioned to employee ownership through the establishment of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

The announcement comes just days after EPS, which is based in Mesa, Arizona, and has offices in Fort Collins and Greeley, announced that it has acquired Fort Collins-based TST Inc. Consulting Engineers.

“Employee ownership is a natural next step in the evolution of EPS Group,” Bryan Kitchen, president of EPS Group, said in a prepared statement. “Our success has always been driven by the dedication, expertise and commitment of our people. Becoming employee owned allows us to invest in our employees while preserving the culture and entrepreneurial spirit that have made EPS successful.”

The transition to employee ownership will not change EPS Group’s leadership, operations or commitment to serving clients, the company said.

“Employee ownership aligns our future with the people who build it every day,” Kitchen said. “We believe this structure strengthens our ability to attract and retain exceptional talent, continue delivering value to our clients and remain a trusted partner in the communities we serve.”

Founded in 2003, EPS Group provides engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, construction management, and related consulting services. The firm serves public and private clients across sectors including government, education, sports and recreation, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, mixed-use, residential, senior living, retail and mining.
