Realberry sells outlying shops at Foothills mall

FORT COLLINS — Real estate developer Realberry closed Friday on the sale of properties on the west and northwest sections of the Foothills mall site in Fort Collins to real estate investment firms Spark Properties Group, based in Oklahoma City, and CenterSquare Investment Management, based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, most of the spaces are occupied although some are vacant.

Realberry, then known as McWhinney Real Estate Services Inc., partnered with California-based investment firm Prism Places Inc. to buy the mall out of foreclosure in June 2021 for $45 million. Two years later, it unveiled a plan to turn much of the indoor mall into open-air retail and add housing, office space and outdoor spaces.
