Northern Water continues testing at Chimney Hollow

The Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District has reached a point where it believes the issue of uranium radioactivity at its new 90,000 acre-foot Chimney Hollow reservoir is under control, but it has delayed filling it pending additional baseline testing.

Ken Amundson retired from his position as managing editor of BizWest in May 2024 but has come back on a limited basis to report business news in Northern Colorado and the Boulder Valley.
