Boulder County launches $500K housing fund
BOULDER — The Boulder County government has created a $500,000 Housing Innovation Fund that will offer nonprofits and municipalities as much as $100,000 in one-time grants “to support creative housing solutions,” according to a news release.
“We want to support new ideas that challenge the status quo and move us toward a future where everyone in Boulder County has access to a safe, affordable place to live,” Boulder County’s housing director Susana Lopez-Baker said in the release. “This fund gives communities a chance to try creative solutions that could have lasting impact.”
Applications open Nov. 10.
The fund is supported by the Affordable and Attainable Housing Tax. For more information, visit the AAHT website.
