Last chance to register for Affordable Housing Summit

LOVELAND — Not much time remains to register for the second annual Northern Colorado Affordable Housing Summit, to be held from 8:30 to 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Forge campus in Loveland.

The event, at 815 14th St. SW, Building B-120, is aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in addressing the pressing issues of affordable housing in Northern Colorado. It will bring together stakeholders from the private and public sectors, including real estate developers, government officials and community members.

Presenters will delve into key challenges facing regional communities and the workforce, seeking actionable solutions and forging partnerships that will shape the future of affordable housing in the region.

Sessions include:

• Update on Purple Wall Initiative — Kristin Todd and Brooke Cunningham, NoCo Foundation.
• ADUs & the Missing-Middle Playbook  — With statewide ADU legalization taking effect June 30, 2025, and local code updates in Fort Collins and Loveland, how can cities streamline permits, infrastructure hookups and neighborhood design? Learn from national zoning reforms to scale duplexes, triplexes and ADUs without overloading streets or utilities. Moderator: Ann Hutchison, president & CEO, Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce. Panelists: Chris Aronson, principal architect, VFLA Architecture + Interiors; Nicole Hahn, city engineer, City of Loveland; Siduri Taylor, Realtor, C3 Real Estate Solutions; and Cheri Witt-Brown, CEO, Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity.
• Condo Comeback? Construction-Defect Reform and Attainable Ownership — Colorado’s 2025 construction-defects reforms aim to de-risk condo projects. What does that mean for missing-middle ownership in Northern Colorado? Hear from developers, insurers and city attorneys on warranties, HOAs, project phasing and local incentives that can restart entry-level ownership supply.
