Kiosk Information Systems leaving Louisville for Thornton

THORNTON — Kiosk Information Systems Inc. plans to move from its longtime headquarters on South Arthur Avenue in Louisville about a dozen miles to the southeast to a newly built facility near 128th Avenue and Washington Street in Thornton.

“Our roots have been in Colorado for more than 30 years, and we are excited to begin this next chapter in Thornton,” Kiosk CEO Kim Kenney said in a prepared statement. “This move is about creating a space that will fuel innovation, provide room for our growing workforce, and reinforce our commitment to investing right here in the Denver metro community.”

Kiosk Information Systems, a subsidiary of Posiflex Group Inc., designs and manufactures standard and custom self-service point-of-sale kiosks. The Thornton facility will house design, engineering, manufacturing and support teams.

“The expanded space will enable the company to increase production capacity, support new customer programs, and continue providing high-quality jobs that strengthen the local economy,” Kiosk said,

The company is expected to be fully moved into the Thornton headquarters by late 2026.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kiosk to Thornton,” Mayor Jan Kulmann said in a statement. “Their decision to relocate their headquarters here is a testament to Thornton’s growing reputation as a hub for innovation, technology, and advanced manufacturing. This investment will bring high-quality jobs, support our local economy, and further strengthen Thornton’s position as a place where companies can thrive.”

Taiwan-based Posiflex acquired Kiosk Information Systems a decade ago, paying approximately $105 million for all shares of Kiosk stock.
