Fort Collins chamber to welcome Union Bank & Trust
FORT COLLINS — Union Bank & Trust, which opened in Fort Collins in July, will be welcomed by the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce from 9 until 10 a.m. Oct. 21 with a ribbon cutting and red-carpet reception.
The bank is located at 123 N. College Ave., Suite 210.
The Lincoln, Nebraska-based bank has been a staple in the Cornhusker State for more than 100 years, but its Fort Collins team includes four banking experts who have lived and worked in Northern Colorado for a combined 57 years.
“I’m honored to lead Union Bank & Trust’s expansion into Fort Collins and the greater Northern Colorado region,” Ryan Sahd, UBT’s Colorado regional president, said in a prepared statement. “The momentum we’ve seen in 2025 affirms that UBT’s commitment to community impact and high-touch, relationship-driven banking is exactly what local businesses and residents are looking for.”
Sahd, a BizWest 40 Under 40 honoree in 2017, held leadership positions with FirstBank in Northern Colorado, the Boulder Valley and most recently the Denver area.
The bank, which announced its entry into Colorado in June, offers banking, lending, investment and trust services. Besides the new Fort Collins branch, it has 34 locations in Nebraska and Kansas.
It is the third-largest privately owned bank in Nebraska, with bank assets of $8.8 billion and trust assets of $42.7 billion as of June 30.
