DENVER — The University of Colorado Board of Regents recently hired Denver city attorney Kerry Tipper as the four-campus CU system’s vice president and university counsel.
Tipper, who previously served in the Colorado House of Representatives, will start her new CU job in March, the university system said in a news release. She will be responsible for providing legal advice to school officials at the University of Colorado Boulder, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora.
“We had an exceptionally talented and diverse pool of candidates for this position and we are grateful they applied. Kerry is a highly skilled attorney and I am excited for her to join the CU team. As chair of the Board of Regents I look forward to working closely with her,” CU Regent Callie Rennison said in the release.
