What’s your proudest moment either personally or professionally?

Personally, my proudest moments revolve around my adult children when they are their authentic selves and when I see that they choose and like each other. Professionally, my proudest moment was creating the 3Hopeful Hearts Grieving Couple’s Retreat. After my husband and I lived through the nightmare of child loss, I knew that bereaved parents could benefit from focused time together. I was able to facilitate moments of connection and I left hopeful that the retreat had made a difference in the resiliency surrounding their relationships. 

How do you like to unwind?

I am a bad un-winder. I need to hone in on my ability to chill out. As my children have launched I find that I crave real connections and carefree moments more than I ever have before. I hope future unwinding will involve dogs, mountains and music- and way less adulting!

Who is your mentor or role model?

My Mom: she surrounds me with unwavering support and love and has adapted her approach from tough to soft over the years. Her resiliency and strength have been my guiding light. And her chocolate chip cookies are magical!

What’s ahead for you personally or professionally?

What’s ahead… that is the biggest question on my mind these days. I plan to listen to my instincts.  I want to take risks that have meaningful outcomes for other humans. And personally, I really want to be a grandma someday!
