Ex-NASA leader added to Solid Power board
LOUISVILLE — Solid Power Inc. (Nasdaq: SLDP) has named Lesa Roe to its board of directors.
Most recently Roe was CEO and chancellor of the University of North Texas System and prior to that served as NASA’s acting deputy administrator and deputy chief operating officer.
“Lesa’s extensive leadership experience and technical background in engineering make her a valuable addition to our board,” Solid Power president David Jansen said in a prepared statement. “We are excited to welcome Lesa to the Solid Power board and look forward to her strategic input as we prepare to produce full-scale all-solid-state batteries for automotive qualification.”
