Greeley doctor to join Banner Health board of directors
GREELEY — Dr. Mark Wallace of Greeley has joined Banner Health’s 14-member board of directors.
Wallace is a family medicine physician and public health practitioner who serves as the chief clinical officer for Sunrise Community Health and is the executive officer for the North Colorado Health Alliance.
As noted in a press statement, the Banner board of directors has oversight for the strategic and financial direction of the organization. Wallace is one of two board members from Colorado.

Wallace was a medical staff member at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, California, and Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was the former executive director and chief health officer for the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment in Colorado.
In addition to Banner Health, Wallace serves on the board of directors of the Colorado Health Foundation and the Center for Improving Value in Health Care. He holds a medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in public health from the Fielding School of Public Health at the University of California Los Angeles. He holds board certification in family medicine.
He is a Greeley native and graduate of Greeley Central High School and the University of Northern Colorado.
