Adams County passes new oil, gas regulations

BRIGHTON — Adams County has become the first county in the state to adopt new oil and gas regulations under Senate Bill 181.

The Colorado Sun reported that opponents of the 3-1 decision say that the new rules will ban drilling, while those in favor say the measures are necessary to protect the public from air and water pollution.
