Motherwell Ranch sells for $27M

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Motherwell Ranch, a 10,350-acre ranch south of Hayden formerly owned by a well-known rodeo family, has been sold to James L. Gallogly, a University of Colorado trustee and former petrochemical executive.

The ranch sold for $27 million, according to a report in the Steamboat Pilot.
