SpringHill Suites hotel to open Thursday in Windsor

WINDSOR —  Marriott International will open its new SpringHill Suites hotel Thursday in Windsor.

The 97-suite hotel, located at 6445 Crossroads Blvd., will operate as a Marriott franchise and is owned and managed by Kana Hotel Group of Knoxville, Tennessee, which broke ground on the project in early 2018.

The hotel is near the Budweiser Events Center, The Ranch event complex and the Promenade Shops at Centerra. Suites feature separate living, working and sleeping spaces.

Kana Hotel Group purchased the land for the hotel in late 2017, paying Martin Lind’s Eagle Crossing Windsor LLC almost $1.3 million for the property, which sits along the north side of Crossroad Boulevard, just to the east of North Fairgrounds Avenue.
