Developer wants to buy Park Hill golf course

DENVER — A developer is working to close a deal on the closed Park Hill Golf Club.

Westside Investment Partners hopes to buy the golf course from the foundation that owns it, according to BusinessDen.

The developer has hurdles to clear before it can gain title to the land. The city must relinquish an agency agreement that it has with the foundation that owns the land. And a lawsuit filed by the former golf course operating company needs to be settled. The golf operator claims right of first refusal on the land, BusinessDen said.
