DeBarros resigns from Commuting Solutions post

LOUISVILLE — Audrey DeBarros, executive director of Commuting Solutions, has resigned effective with the replacement of a replacement.

DeBarros has led the agency for 14 years. Commuting Solutions works to find transportation options for commuters and employers. It advocates for infrastructure and transportation improvements.

DeBarros has worked to be a catalyst for coalition building and government relations among the public and private sectors within the Northwest metro region’s communities of Longmont, Boulder, Boulder County, Superior, Louisville, Broomfield, Westminster, Erie and Lafayette, according to information provided by Commuting Solutions. Her work also coordinated closely with the U.S. 36 Mayors & Commissioners Coalition to identify funding for regional transportation needs, most notably the $500 million raised to construct the U.S. 36 Express Lanes Project and the RTD B Line commuter rail service.
