OneNoCo to host site selectors this week

LOVELAND — The Northern Colorado Economic Alliance, also known as OneNoCo, is hosting site selectors at an event starting Wednesday.

Site selectors, the people who conduct research on potential sites for companies looking to locate or relocate branches, along with community leaders will meet from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Sonny Lubick’s Steakhouse, 115 S. College Ave., in Fort Collins. The meeting is an effort to promote Northern Colorado as a distinct economic region.

The Wednesday event kicks off a three-day tour of the region that includes stops at businesses, universities and cultural destinations in Greeley, Loveland and Fort Collins. Discussions about state incentives, workforce, education, housing and commercial real estate are planned.

“This is an excellent opportunity to highlight our unique opportunities and talented workforce,” said Andy Montgomery, executive director of OneNoCo. “When companies are looking to relocate, they rely heavily on information from site selectors who have studied different regions. It is no surprise that Northern Colorado is getting a reputation as an attractive place to do business and locate a company.”

Established in 2016, the Northern Colorado Economic Alliance Inc. is a 501(c)(6) corporation that is governed by business executives in Northern Colorado.
