New restaurant, brewery open in Loveland

LOVELAND — A new American-style restaurant has opened in the former Adelita’s Mexican restaurant at 414 E. Sixth St. in Loveland.

AKA Kitchen has had its soft opening, according to a report in the Reporter-Herald.

Bob Shaffer, Rick Frahm and Richard Vasa bought the building after Della Chavez closed her perpetually popular restaurant. Julie Shaffer, owner of Rock Coast Brewery, has joined AKA Kitchen in the building and opened July 13.
