Art Institute of Colorado plans to close in August
DENVER – The Art Institute of Colorado in Denver is planning to close in August, resulting in the elimination of 160 jobs.
Business Den reports that Dream Center Education Holdings Inc., which operates the art school at 1200 N. Lincoln St., sent a letter to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment explaining the closing and layoffs will take place Aug. 28, and will affect full-time faculty members, adjunct and part-time teachers and student workers.
