Denver restaurant chain raises $1M, seeks to franchise
Denver-based Italian restaurant chain Mici Handcrafted Italian has raised $1 million and is looking to franchise.
BusinessDen reports that the company, which operates four locations in the metro area, intends to add two to five locations per year, with franchising beginning in the next two years. The company recently hired Elliot Schiffer as CEO and is seeking locations in the area for corporate-owned stores.
Mici Handcrafted Italian was launched 13 years ago by siblings Jeff, Michael and Kim Miceli. The company recently raised $1 million from 13 investors, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
