PivotDesk parent company opening co-working space in Denver

DENVER — The company that purchased Boulder-based PivotDesk is now opening its first Denver offices.

Luxury co-working space Industrious has leased 30,000 square feet at 1801 California St. and plans to open in December, reports BusinessDen.

Brooklyn-based Industrious opened in 2013 and operates 17 locations.

It will be one of the many co-working and office sharing companies competing in Denver. There are local companies like Galvanize and Industry, but national companies are also expanding their presence: WeWork is looking to open a third location while Chicago-based Level Office purchased 110,000 square feet off the 16th Street Mall.
