LOVELAND — Representatives from economic-development organizations from around the state, elected officials and local business leaders will gather at The Ranch Event Center in Loveland on June 8 for the Regional Economic Development Forum.
The nonprofit Economic Development Council of Colorado is organizing the event that will be hosted by Larimer and Weld counties, which make up Region 2 on the EDCC’s state map.
Stephanie Copeland, recently appointed executive director for Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade, will deliver the keynote address at lunch, talking about her plans for the next two years.
State demographer Elizabeth Garner will provide a view of the region and how it impacts other parts of the state.
And attendees will hear presentations on regional transportation and how to leverage partnerships to address infrastructure needs at the local level; the importance of sector partnerships as it pertains to health care and manufacturing; and how to address the need for a talent pipeline as the state continues to grow.
