Hickenlooper focuses on transportation, broadband
DENVER — Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper yesterday outlined transportation and broadband as his legislative priorities for 2017. The governor spoke at the opening of the Colorado General Assembly, providing his annual State of the State address.
The Denver Business Journal reports that Hickenlooper’s broadband proposal seeks to increase rural broadband. The proposal includes a plan to launch a state office dedicated to expansion of broadband throughout Colorado, according to The Daily Sentinel in Grand Junction.
