Denver approves $120M baggage-screening project at DIA
DENVER — The Denver City Council last night approved a $120 million contract to improve screening of checked baggage at Denver International Airport. The Denver Post reports that the three-year contract was signed with Ludvik Electric Co., based in Lakewood.
The project will consolidate the screening and was requested by the Transportation Security Administration, which will bear $50 million of the cost.
