Cable Center sells building to University of Denver

DENVER — The Syndeo Institute at the Cable Center, an organization that maintains cable-industry history, has sold its building on the University of Denver campus to DU.

BusinessDen reports that the Cable Center sold the building at 2000 Buchtel Blvd. for $19.5 million. The university already owned the land under the building.

The Cable Center will vacate the property by June 30 and move to a nearby location, with its current building becoming a new welcome center that will house the undergraduate admissions office.
