DENVER – Construction is still more than a year away, but the development team of the new World Trade Center in River North this week will start meeting with prospective tenants and stakeholders to share its globally minded vision and increasingly concrete plans for the project.
The Denver Post reports that the the first phase of development, estimated to cost $175 million to $200 million, could include roughly 200,000 square feet of traditional office space and 50,000 square feet of collaborative/co-working space in one building, and a 30,000- to 40,000-square-foot conference center and 200-room business-friendly hotel in another.
The day-night campus could also house 30,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, on-site parking and a public plaza that could host international movie nights, festivals and other events.
