Proposed $100M project in Aurora to include veteran housing near VA hospital

A Denver developer is planning a $100 million mixed-use project near the under-construction VA hospital in Aurora that will include a housing component for formerly homeless veterans.

BusinessDen.com reports that Northstar Commercial Partners’ project, dubbed Denver Metro Veterans Project, is slated to go on 30 acres at the corner of Colfax Avenue and Sable Boulevard, and include townhomes, subsidized apartments, retail space, a skilled-nursing facility and a transitional-care facility.
