Report: Denver’s 16th Street Mall conditions deterring visitors

The presence of homeless people and public marijuana consumption on the 16th Street Mall are deterring convention planners from choosing Denver according to a new report.

The Denver Business Journal reports that the Visit Denver study notes that complaints from meeting planners and convention organizers rose 13 percent from 2013 to 2014 alone. The study included letters from some planners who vowed never to book a convention in Denver.
