Estes performing arts center seeks exec director

The nonprofit Estes Performance Inc. (EPIC), which plans to build a $30 million performing arts center on the downtown Estes Park site of a mall that burned in 2009, has enlisted Genovese Vanderhoof & Associates to conduct a national search to find an executive director for the EPIC board.

The Estes Park Trail Gazette reports that the new executive director’s role will be primarily as a fundraiser, since about $11 million needs to be raised if the Rocky Mountain Performing Arts Center is to open in 2019. EPIC already has $5.2 million in project assets involving property, pledges and cash, and the remaining $19 million is to be financed.
