New Longmont judge to give movie-theater liquor-license app second look

Movie-goers at Longmont’s new Regal Cinemas theater at the Village at the Peaks Shopping Center might soon be able to have a beer with their flick after all.

The Times-Call reports that new Longmont municipal judge Robert Frick is reviewing the case file of Regal’s liquor-license application after Boulder County District Court remanded the case back his way, stating that former municipal judge Diana VanDeHey erred in her ruling to deny Regal the license.
