Whole Foods moving forward with major remodel of Boulder store

Whole Foods Market might have put the brakes on its Longmont store, but it’s moving ahead with a major renovation project of its store on Pearl Street in Boulder.

The Daily Camera reports that the natural-foods grocer will spend $738,000 on a remake of the interior. Changes will include new chicken and veggie bars, as well as a redone coffee bar. The work is to be completed by sometime in May.

In December, Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods announced the company was postponing the opening of its Longmont store by 11 months to December of this year.
