Southwest Airlines adds trio of new destinations from DIA

Southwest Airlines is adding flights from Denver to Buffalo, N.Y.; Norfolk, Va.; and Charleston, S.C., next summer as the company continues to expand its offerings at Denver International Airport.

The Denver Business Journal reports that the Saturday-only flights will be seasonal offerings. They’ll begin June 5 and run through Aug. 5 “as Southwest assesses their viability.” In addition to the new destinations, Southwest is also increasing the frequency of flights from Denver to Phoenix, Kansas City, Oakland, St. Louis, San Francisco and Burbank, Calif.
