Loveland backs plan for I-25 funding
Praising the Larimer County Commissioners for coming up with the idea, the Loveland City Council unanimously passed a resolution Tuesday night in support of allocating money for bridge repair on Interstate 25.
According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald, additional revenues would come from the county’s road and bridge mill levy, raising about $5.3 million over five years and making up a third of a local match for a federal grant for which the Colorado Department of Transportation is applying. That local match would be from $15 million and $18 million.
