Heron Lakes developers buy 125 acres in Berthoud

BERTHOUD — Heron Lakes Investments LLC has purchased approximately 125 acres of land in Berthoud for $2 million from Parkway West LLC and Berthoud Eagle Investors LLC.

Heron Lakes Investments, headed by Jon Turner and Jim Birdsall, plans to integrate the 124.40-acre parcel at the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 287 and South Taft Hill Road into its master planned community to the west.

“The addition of this property provides a convenient and grand entrance to Heron Lakes off of South Taft Hill Road,” said Ryan Schaefer of Chrisland Real Estate Cos., who along with Jake Hallauer of Chrisland, represented the sellers. Emily Warren of Hillside Real Estate Group represented the buyers.
