Uber acquires Bing operations, data center in Boulder County
Ride-sharing service Uber Inc. has acquired pieces of Microsoft’s Bing division, including assets in Boulder County.
The Denver Post reports that the deal includes a 50-person office in Boulder, as well as “control of a Longmont data center.” The move helps Uber beef up its own mapping operations.
