LaSalle-based Flatiron Steel buys Greeley land for new headquarters
LASALLE – Flatiron Steel Inc. paid $630,000 recently for 4.03 acres in the HighPointe Business Park in Greeley where owners plan to build a new 36,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility.
Owner Lee Smith said Tuesday that his goal is to move the company’s LaSalle operations to the new facility by the end of the year, though he’s still working through the entitlement process with the city for the Greeley building. The land is at the southeast corner of 21st Street and 115th Avenue.
Founded in 2006, Flatiron Steel makes steel roofing and siding for residential, commercial and agricultural applications.…
