Gaiam posts 2Q loss despite revenue increase
Louisville-based Gaiam, which produces and markets lifestyle media and fitness accessories, had revenue of $32.5 million for the period ending June 30, a 1.7 percent increase compared with $31.9 million for the same period last year.
The company suffered a net loss of $2.4 million, or 10 cents per share, compared with a $7.8 million profit for the same period a year ago.
