Kennedy & Coe, Matsom & Isom to merge

Kennedy and Coe LLC, one of the region’s largest accounting firms, will merge with Matsom and Isom, effective Jan. 1, 2015.

Chico, Calif.-based Matsom and Isom does about one-third of its business in the food and agriculture industry, where Kennedy and Coe also focuses its efforts.

Jeff Wald, current CEO of Kansas-based Kennedy and Coe, will serve as CEO of the merged firm, which will have a new, yet-to-be-chosen, name.
