Former Realtec brokers launch new firm

Long-time Fort Collins commercial broker Patty Spencer said she and her partner Dan Eckles, both formerly of Realtec Commercial Real Estate, are forming a new firm.

Spencer, who had been with Realtec for 12 years, said in a statement that the new downtown firm will be called Commercial Real Estate Brokers, LLC.

“We believe this change will allow us more autonomy in our marketing efforts,” Spencer said in a statement.

The move comes just months after CBRE, one of the largest real estate companies in the world, announced that it would establish an office staffed by existing Northern Colorado brokers in September. Three of them were from Realtec.

Spencer could not be immediately reached for comment.
