Community Foundation, Bohemian to give $1.5 million to flood relief

In the last minutes of the campaign on Oct. 31, the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado was able to meet its goal of raising $750,000 for flood victims, which will be fully matched by the Bohemian Foundation.

The Bohemian Foundation, a Fort Collins non-profit organization, reached out to the Community Foundation and offered to match individual donations and contributions for flood relief up to $750,000 through the month of October.

With minutes left, local residents came through with donations, pushing the total dollar amount just over the $750,000 mark, said Ray Caraway, Community Foundation president and CEO.
