Hick’s chief of staff to speak at conference

Roxane White, chief of staff for Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, will be the keynote speaker Oct. 17 in Copper Mountain at the Women’s Small Business Conference,

Hosted by the Colorado Small Business Development Center Network, the annual event features a day full of breakout training sessions, one-on-one consulting, and networking.

Before working with Hickenlooper, White served as chief of staff for the city of Denver and was director of its human-services department. She spent 16 years developing outcome-based programs for homeless youth in Colorado and California and was chief executive of Urban Peak.
