First RF to make, sell antennas for military

BOULDER – First RF Corp. has received a contract for up to $24.9 million over a six-year period to make and sell radio-frequency antenna systems to the U.S. military.

Boulder-based First RF Corp. employees are working on the first order of antennas commissioned in the contract, said Jeanne Hill-Jurik, the company’s contract manager. Hill-Jurik declined to discuss details of the order because of the nature of the government contract.

The U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory in Rome, New York, is the contractor. The contract was made through the Small Business Innovation Research program to research, develop, test, evaluate and deploy advanced radio frequency systems, according to a press release.
