Housing starts down in West region
Multi-family starts decreased in the region by 39 percent year-over-year. The Colorado Division of Housing attributes this to an unusually large number of multi-family starts in November 2011.
Single-family starts in the region were up, by 34.9 percent. The increase marks the highest number recorded during the month of November since 2007.
