Investors pocket space-news publication

BOULDER – Investment firm Pocket Ventures LLC has acquired the weekly publication Space News and its online component, spacenews.com, both of which cover the space and satellite communications industry.
Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
The publication and its approximately 13 employees will remain in Arlington, Virginia, said Felix Magowan, chairman of Boulder-based Space News Inc., the entity formed from Pocket Ventures to make the purchase. The publication is estimated at $4 million in value, based on revenue and circulation, Magowan said.
